Cabbage likes mild, moist, and sufficient light. It is more resistant to cold and has the ability to adapt to high temperatures. The suitable temperature for growth is 15-20℃. During the swelling period of fleshy stems, the fleshy quality is prone to fibrosis in case of high temperature above 30℃. The choice of soil is not very strict, but it is suitable for planting in clay loam or sandy loam rich in humus. Cabbage seedlings must be vernalized at 0-10°C, then bolted, bloomed, and bear fruit under long-day sunlight and moderate temperature.
